0 – Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion are the only two teams to fail to score in their opening two games of the 2013-14 season. Newcastle have been beat 4-0 at Manchester City and drawn 0-0 with West Ham. West Brom have been beaten 1-0 by Southampton and drawn 0-0 at Everton.
1 – West Ham have conceded just 1 shot on target to start the season. Cardiff City’s Matthew Connolly is the only player to produce a save from Jussi Jääskeläinen in the opening two games of the season.

3 – John Terry has started all 3 of Chelsea’s opening games this season. The former England captain did not play in 3 consecutive Premier League games all of last season.
5 – Darren Bent has now scored in the Premier League for five teams against Arsenal. The on-loan striker netted from close range in Fulham’s 3-1 home loss by Arsenal.
5 – Scott Parker’s debut for Fulham on Saturday means the England international becomes the first player to play in the Premier League for five different London-based clubs. Parker started his career with Charlton Athletic and went on to play for Chelsea, West Ham and Tottenham in London before joining Fulham this summer.
6 – Arsenal’s 3-1 win at Fulham on Saturday was the Gunners’ sixth successive away Premier League victory. Arsène Wenger’s side’s next away game will be at Sunderland on 14 September.
6 – Darren Bent’s first goal for Fulham on Saturday was the sixth Premier League side he has scored for; a joint record. The other seven players who have achieved this feat are Andrew Cole, Les Ferdinand, Marcus Bent, Nick Barmby, Craig Bellamy, Peter Crouch and Robbie Keane.
8 – Ricky van Wolfswinkel tops the league with 8 fouls. The Dutch striker who replaced Grant Holt over the summer is filling into the boots left behind after Holt topped the league in most fouls last season.
300 – Rio Ferdinand became the fifth player to make 300 Premier League appearances for Manchester United. Ferdinand partnered Nemanja Vidic in Manchester United’s Monday night game at home to Chelsea. Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville and Roy Keane have all made 300 appearances for the Red Devils.
