10 Interesting Stats from Premier League Matchday 4

1 – Olivier Giroud scored his 1st Premier League goal outside of London on Saturday and has now scored twice as many goals in Premier League away games this season as he did in 2012-13.

2 – Sunderland and West Brom are the only two sides yet to win a single game this season. The Black Cats were beaten 3-1 at home to Arsenal which saw manager Paolo Di Canio sent off, leaving them on 1 point after 4 games. West Brom scored a stoppage time equaliser at Fulham to earn their 2nd point of the season.

3 – Arsenal have conceded 3 penalties in their 4 Premier League matches to start the season. Laurent Koscielny has conceded the last two of those. The French defender dived in on Adam Johnson early in the second half when the Sunderland captain on the day was not in a goalscoring or greatly threatening position.

360 – West Brom became the last team to score in the Premier League this season when Gareth McAuley headed in Chris Brunt’s corner to equalise at Fulham. Steve Clarke’s side had previously failed to score in 360 minutes (excluding stoppage time) of action this season.
