1 – Samuel Eto’o became the first striker to score a Premier League goal for Chelsea this season. The Cameroonian legend gave Chelsea a 2-1 lead at the time with his fine effort in a match they ran out eventual 4-1 winners over Cardiff City.

100 – Steven Gerrard became the 24th player in Premier League history to score 100 goals. The Liverpool captain reached the Century mark converting a penalty in a 2-2 draw at Newcastle. He is level with Didier Drogba all-time and 1 more goal will move him on par with Southampton legend Matthew Le Tissier.

300 – Petr Čech made his 300th Premier League appearance on Saturday during Chelsea’s 4-1 win over Cardiff City. The Czech Republic number 1 has won 194 of these matches and kept 148 clean sheets.

407 – Manchester United end Southampton’s run of minutes without conceding a goal at 407 on Saturday when Robin van Persie opened the scoring at Old Trafford. Artur Boruc and the Saints had gone over four matches without conceding a Premier League goal since Nathan Redmond’s winner for Norwich on 31 August.
