The Uruguayan collected his third matchday ball of the season by netting three in Liverpool’s 6-3 win at Cardiff City on Saturday. Alan Shearer (twice), Ruud van Nistelrooy and Dimitar Berbatov have all scored at least three hat-tricks in a single season previously.
