Steven Gerrard is set to play his final game at Anfield as a Liverpool player this evening as the Reds host Crystal Palace in their final home game of the 2014-15 season before their club captain departs for the LA Galaxy.
The 34-year old former England captain made his Premier League debut more than 16 years ago, remaining loyal to his hometown club until agreeing to move to the USA earlier this year.
He has gone on to win the 2005 UEFA Champions League, 2001 UEFA Cup, two FA Cups and three League Cups as well as playing for his country 114 times, captaining them on 38 occasions.
