10 Interesting Stats from Premier League Matchday 17

0 – Sergio Agüero is still yet to score a Premier League goal away from the Etihad so far this season.

1 – Leicester City are the first team in Premier League history to be bottom at Christmas one season and top 12 months later.

8 – Swansea City have now failed to score in eight Premier League games so far this season; more often than any other side, following their 0-0 draw with West Ham on Sunday.

15 – Mesut Özil is running away with the lead in the assists category.  The Arsenal playmaker is up to 15 following their 2-1 win over Manchester City on Monday night.  Next on the list are Riyad Mahrez and Gerard Deulofeu, each on seven.

300 – John Terry became only the 4th player in Premier League history to record 300 wins during Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Sunderland.  The Blues’ captain joins Ryan Giggs (407), Frank Lampard (349) and Paul Scholes (321).

2001 – This weekend Norwich City became the first newly-promoted side to win at Old Trafford since Bolton Wanderers in October 2001.  Goals from Cameron Jerome and Alexander Tettey helped Alex Neil’s side a 2-1 win over Manchester United.
