Christian Pulisic’s hat-trick for Chelsea at Burnley on Saturday saw the 21-year-old become the first American to score for Chelsea in the Premier League era.
In the process, the forward became only the second American to score a Premier League hat-trick, after Clint Dempsey for Fulham against Newcastle United in 2012.
Pulisic’s goals mean that there have been players of 36 different nationalities to score for Chelsea in the Premier League. The full table, in order by when they scored first, is below:

Harford finished the inaugural season at the club’s joint-top scorer, with Graham Stuart, each with nine goals.
The first player born outside of Europe to score for the Blues was Gus Poyet, during their 6-0 drubbing of Barnsley at Oakwell on 24 August 1997 (Frank Sinclair had scored before this point, but the defender was born in England and represented Jamaica at international level).
