The Spaniard had been on loan from Real Madrid for the season and is expected to link up with the La Liga champions for pre-season training in the coming weeks.
Ceballos is under contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium until 2023 although it is unclear whether Zinedine Zidane has any plans for the nine-time Spanish international.
