Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho has taken to Instagram to express his delight at his side’s win against Burnley.
Mourinho has posted a photo of the Tottenham dressing room after the match, and has joked about the players being on their phones after the “great victory” in a tough game.
Spurs got the better of Burnley 1-0 away from home at Turf Moor in the Premier League on Monday evening.
Son Heung-min scored the only goal of the match in the 76th minute.
Mourinho wrote: “After a great victory in a really hard match… Sign of the times 📱📱 Well done boys #COYS”
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Turf Moor on Monday evening, hosts Burnley had 38% of the possession, took 13 shots of which four were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Tottenham had 62% of the possession, took nine shots of which three were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
The win against Burnley means that Tottenham are now fifth in the Premier League table with 11 points from six matches.
The North London club are only two points behind Everton and Liverpool, who are first and second respectively in the standings.
While a title challenge is unlikely from Spurs, Tottenham are very much in the race for the top four.
