“Best youngster in the world” – Man Utd fans heap praise onto “special talent”

For the second time in as many days, Manchester City’s title winning celebrations have been put on hold, with Manchester United’s victory at Aston Villa ensuring their wait to get their hands on the trophy goes on for another week.

Goals from Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani ensured United left Villa Park with all three points and effectively wrapped up their place in the top four.

It wasn’t all plain sailing for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, who fell behind to a stunning Bertrand Traore strike, but they managed to turn a deficit into a victory for the tenth time this season.

It’s a remaerkable record for United, but perhaps isn’t the most impressive record set of the day.

Greenwood managed to break a record of his own, becoming the highest scoring teenager in the Premier League for Manchester United, leapfrogging Wayne Rooney in the process.

It was the teenager again who stole the headlines, as he continues to do week after week.

His goal scoring ability should never be under estimated and his finishing is sensational, as Troy Deeney quite rightly pointed out in his punditry on Sky Sports.

But aside from that clinical edge to his game, he’s now working more for the team and putting those hard yards in that will take him to the next level.

United fans are thrilled with the progress he is making and were quick to jump on Twitter to lavish the youngster in praise.

Here’s what they had to say….
