Alex Telles could be set to depart Manchester United ahead of the transfer deadline closing, according to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.
The transfer expert has poured cold water on reports suggesting the 29-year-old could be a target for Porto by insisting the Portuguese club have no interest in the left-back.
La Liga outfit Sevilla are said to be one of around three clubs who are currently monitoring Telles’ situation at Old Trafford and a switch could depend on United’s willingness to cover part of his salary.
Telles featured 26 times in all competitions for Manchester United last season (transfermarkt), having deputised for Luke Shaw, however he has failed to start any of the club’s four pre-season fixtures.
The arrival of Tyrell Malacia as Erik ten Hag’s first signing will likely further push Telles further down the pecking order.
Alex Telles could leave Manchester United in the next weeks. Porto are not interested despite rumours, while Sevilla are among 2/3 clubs keeping tabs on Telles. 🔴🇧🇷 #MUFC

Ten Hag played Telles out of position in all of his pre-season friendly appearances by operating the Brazilian as a left-sided central defender and his inexperience operating there was clear to see.
A move away from Old Trafford is in the best interests of the left-back, given the lack of football he is likely to get this season.
