Son’s comments come after Richarlison revealed midweek that he would seek “psychological help” following a turbulent five months away from the pitch.

“Richy is a really strong guy, a good character and can always bounce back strong. But when you have a tough time, you need good people around you,” Son said.
“I always try to be a friend to him, and if he needs anything, I can help him with my experience or playing skills. Everyone is standing behind him helping. He did an amazing job for this club.”

Rifts and divisions have plagued the club recently, but Son believes that the new-look squad under Ange Postecoglou is starting to become a real team.
“We are still on the way. Obviously, big games, especially like Saturday, make it tighter and closer as a group,” Son added.
“But you can’t compare to the real family, but we are getting tight in the changing rooms.
Everyone is working for each other, running for each other, and fighting for each other. If someone comes off, you give a handoff, and everyone is happy to do that.
That makes us really strong as a team and as a group. We’re getting really close. We hope we can be even tighter than this.”
