Chris Sutton has praised Celtic winger Luis Palma after his brilliant performance against Aberdeen.
The 23-year-old scored one goal from the spot as the Bhoys earned a 6-0 win at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership.
Yang Hyun-jun, Kyogo Furuhashi, and David Turnbull and Oh Hyeon-gyu were the other scorers from the game as the Hoops earned a commanding victory.
Sutton, who works for BBC Sports among others, has praised Palma and Matt O’Riley for their performances, and hailed them as “tremendous”.
The Bhoys suffered a 6-0 defeat in the midweek against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, and they needed a strong response. Sutton was very impressed with how they reacted and hailed it as “excellent”.
“Excellent response from Celtic after Tuesday’s humiliation in Madrid. Matt O’Riley and Luis Palma tremendous displays,” wrote Sutton on X.

Top performance
There were some top performers during the game but Palma was outstanding. The Honduras attacking midfielder has been in good form this season. He has managed four goals and five assists in the Scottish Premiership from five starts.
The Dons were very poor throughout the game and they lacked the intensity to put pressure on Celtic. After the midweek defeat, Brendan Rodgers vowed that his side will not suffer any hangover.
They produced a professional display and took an early 2-0 lead. Aberdeen registered their first shot on target after 59 minutes. Celtic enjoyed 78% of possession and attempted as many as 21 shots during the game, as per BBC Sport.
Rodgers will be pleased with that effort, especially after what happened in Spain.
