Eberechi Eze set to sign new Crystal Palace deal

Eberechi Eze has signed a new three-and-a-half year contract with Crystal Palace, as per The Athletic

Fabrizio Romano has also shared on X that the attacking midfielder is set to sign a new deal soon after the agreement was reached ten days ago.

The 25-year-old will see an increase in his salary, and Romano has described it as a “huge move” for the Eagles.

Manchester City wanted to sign Eze in the summer transfer window, and they will keep an eye on his progress.

Eze joined Palace in August 2020 and he had entered into the final 24 months of his existing deal.

“Eberechi Eze, set to sign new Crystal Palace deal soon as agreement was reached almost 10 days ago. It’s all in place now. Salary will be increased. Huge move for Crystal Palace plans.  Manchester City wanted Eze last August — told they keep following him for future,” wrote Romano.

Good news

Eze has been a key player for the Eagles since joining them in 2020. He has made 98 appearances for the club, scoring 16 goals in all competitions.

Man City could still be interested in signing him in the future, but Palace now can demand a high transfer fee for their star player whose contract will expire in 2027.

The versatile attacking midfielder who can play in all three attacking midfield positions upfront has managed one goal and one assist in the Premier League so far.

Palace returned to winning ways last week after beating Burnley 2-0. They will face Everton at Selhurst Park on Saturday (11 November) in the Premier League.
