Everton will face Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday (4 November) at Goodison Park.
Ahead of the game, Sean Dyche has delivered a positive injury update on Seamus Coleman who could be back in action at some point this month.
The veteran right-back only returned to training last week and he is clearly short of match fitness. Dyche has suggested that Coleman could be involved in the Under 21 game this weekend to improve his fitness.
Dele Alli who is suffering from a hip injury is still a long way out, while Andre Gomes who picked up a calf injury is on his way back.
“Seamus is going well and will hopefully get involved with a game for the under-21s this weekend,” said Dyche, as quoted by Liverpool Echo.
Momentum
The Toffees have looked solid after the international break and they have picked up five wins from their last seven in all competitions. They are heading into this game on the back of two wins in a row, including a convincing victory against Burnley in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
The Toffees must have picked up immense confidence from their 1-0 win against West Ham in their last Premier League game and they must aim to pick up all three points at home.
Brighton are a solid team and their recruitment policy has become the envy of top clubs in the country. They are seventh in the league and a very hard team to beat.
However, the Toffees, on their day, are capable of putting up a strong fight against any team, and we can expect a tough game this weekend.
