West Ham produced a superb performance as they won 3-1 against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night at the London Stadium.
Tony Cottee has shared his reaction on Twitter, and the former Hammers player looks overjoyed with the performance from David Moyes’ side.
Mikel Arteta’s side are in tremendous form at the moment and to beat them convincingly is a great achievement.

West Ham took the lead via an own goal in the 16th minute. The Gunners enjoyed a lot of possession but they couldn’t create enough clear-cut chances.
They were punished after the break as Mohammed Kudus beautifully trapped Nayef Aguerd’s 50-yard cross-field pass before finishing low with a neat strike. The win was secured when Jarrod Bowen fired a volley from the edge of the area.
Martin Odegaard slotted into the bottom corner with the final kick of the game but it was a mere consolation.
The central talking point prior to the game was the return of Declan Rice. The England midfielder joined Arsenal in the summer from West Ham after making almost 250 appearances for the Hammers and guiding them to Europa Conference League triumph in June.
The fans initially welcomed him nicely and gave him a standing ovation. However, as the game progressed, the excitement took over and Rice was booed by a section of fans. West Ham have been poor in recent games and Michail Antonio described it as shambles.
However, they produced a much improved performance and Moyes will hope that they can translate such intensity into the league.
