Conor Bradley must start against Arsenal after stellar display vs Chelsea

Liverpool defender Conor Bradley must start against Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend following his stunning performance against Chelsea on Wednesday night.

The Merseyside giants reclaimed their five-point lead at the top of the league table yesterday following a resounding 4-1 win over Chelsea at Anfield.

They were many stand-out performers but Bradley stole the limelight, scoring his maiden league goal for the club with a fine finish before half-time.

The 20-year-old also chipped in with a splendid assist for Dominik Szoboszlai. His accurate cross into the box was headed in for the Reds’ third goal.

Aside from his goal contributions, the youngster won eight ground and aerial duels. He made four key passes and won three tackles on the night.

Bradley was taken off in the 68th minute to be replaced by Trent Alexander-Arnold and in our view, he must start against the Gunners on Sunday.

The Reds graduate has earned his spot on the back of a man of the match performance and should get the backing from Jurgen Klopp this weekend.

Of course, there is a selection headache with Alexander-Arnold back in the mix. We believe the 25-year-old could line up in midfield versus Arsenal.

All three of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominic Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones were brilliant, but the latter could make way if Klopp decides to start Alexander-Arnold.

The fans would ideally want an unchanged XI from the Chelsea win on Sunday and Klopp has a big decision to make ahead of the north London trip.

Liverpool have the chance to dampen Arsenal’s title pursuit by beating them at the Emirates Stadium for the second time this season after the recent FA Cup third round win.
