Liverpool attacking midfielder Kieran Morrison is set to sign a new three-year deal at the club, according to an exclusive report from Fabrizio Romano.
The 17-year-old was linked with a move away from the Reds last summer, but he has verbally agreed to a new contract, with both parties set to review documents before making it official.
Morrison is yet to make his first-team debut for Liverpool but has continued to impress the senior team coaches with his brilliant performances at youth level.

The Northern Ireland youth international joined the Liverpool academy four years ago after previously being on the books at Manchester United.
He debuted for the under-18s while still with the under-16s last term, bagging a goal in their 3-0 win over their Fulham counterparts on Sunday as they booked their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup.
Morrison is a creative and attacking central midfielder who has been tipped to break into the first-team soon, catching the attention of Liverpool fans after notching an impressive hat-trick as the Reds kept up the pressure at the top of the under-18 Premier League North with a 3-1 victory over Middlesbrough last November.
“One thing that Kieran can do is shoot and he loves to shoot, which is a great habit to have,” under-18s coach Marc Bridge-Wilkinson said of him recently.
“On a day like that when he is concentrating on his technique and hitting the ball properly, it’s a really nice strike that he has got, so I was really pleased to see the goals that he got.
“Kieran is a good technician. He is good with the ball at his feet, he likes to carry the ball and he can go past people and he can finish. He’s not afraid to risk the ball at the right times and try to create something for the team. When Kieran is playing well and he is full of energy he is a good player.”
Morrison can play in a variety of different positions and has featured centrally, off both sides and in midfield so far this term, and it is not a surprise that the Liverpool sensation is attracting suitors.
While he still has plenty of work to do as he is far from the finished article, he has huge potential and the Reds have not hesitated to move to tie him down to a new deal.
